STT170
The Honeywell STT170 series (STT 3000 family) of programmable temperature transmitters delivers cost-effective, accurate temperature monitoring versus direct-wired sensor points. Models STT171, STT173, STT17H, and STT17F cover 4–20 mA, HART, and FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus outputs from a DIN form B headmount housing, with automatic linearization, NAMUR NE43 sensor-error response, and PC-based configuration via the STT17C tool.
Key Benefits
- 01Increased accuracy, safety, and reliability versus direct-wired temperature sensors
- 02Reduced wiring costs through loop-powered transmitter architecture
- 03Automatic linearization with user-settable upper and lower range values
- 04Programmable high/low limit alarms trigger on sensor failure
- 05Galvanic isolation on STT173/17H/17F improves noise immunity in harsh plants
Technical Features
- 01STT171: Analog 4–20 mA, RTD or Ohm input, DIN form B headmount
